PRE-PRODUCTION
The Plan!
After getting in touch with us the first thing we’ll do is arrange a free consultation - normally a 2 hour video call or meeting - to discuss exactly what you need to achieve with your Video - we’ll talk style, content, location and use your Brand Image and the specifics of how you’ve had to adapt to new conditions to guide our approach in designing a successful Brief - our creative team will have researched your business and will have tons of ideas so don’t worry if you don’t know what you need your video to look like yet!
PRODUCTION
The Shoot!
This is the fun part! Once pre-production is complete and all parties are happy with the brief, it’s time for the shoot! We always aim to get the shoot done in one full day, allowing plenty of time to get all the footage we need, execute pre-planned shots and play around with any other ideas we have! We typically shoot this kind of Video on location at a business venue or wherever it is your work takes place.
We are a small team, normally only two people on the shoot date, so all social distancing and safety guidance are easily followed.
POST-PRODUCTION
The Edit!
We’ll then take all of the footage to our editing suite - this is where the real magic happens - our years of experience and expertise have built up the technical and artistic skill-set required to knit together everything we’ve captured to create video content of all styles to suit the needs of any brand or platform.
Once we’ve delivered you the finished video, there’s an opportunity for you to give notes and request amendments should you require any. Otherwise, it’s time to implement your Video online and remind people that you’re Back in Business!

Toby and Tom
Silent Key’s Creative Directors Toby and Tom set up Silent Key Films in 2017 and have had the pleasure of filming for lots of varied and interesting businesses in the UK and abroad. With backgrounds in Videography, Events and Theatre, they’ve created a streamlined no-fuss approach to commercial filmmaking that’s efficient and affordable, as well as artistically viable and creatively driven.
They now employ freelancers for larger productions, but can still scale things back for small businesses and sole traders, who they love to work with.
